Hi All,
My name is Amit and I got the delivery of my Jimny on 14th July 2023 on the occasion of my daughter’s birthday. Till the 12th there was no news from Nexa when my Car will come as I had booked on the 15th Jan and I was expected to get delivery in First Lot itself but unfortunately, it took a long and after a lot of follow Day came for good news.
Before delivery PDI was necessary and I completed it the day before to avoid any kind of problem on delivery day and PDI list prepared by Our group helps to check what is necessary for PDI, although I have created one small video on PDI points which we need to cover before taking delivery.
Took the above pic before leaving for the day for safety and then finally delivery day came.
There were a couple of friends who came for delivery and help me to make this day memorable for my whole life.
Delivery day is usually full of documentation and a long process so I asked my SA to complete the documentation day before so that I don’t have to wait for more on the showroom.
Finally, we took the delivery and took the new baby home.
Driving review for initially 100km:-
I was afraid from the very start of Manual car because I have taken a test ride of it and found the gear shifter very hard, one needs to be patience and use little force to shift gears but with time I found that shifts are getting smother and by 1000km one can shift without any much force.
2nd point on mileage, I am not getting much but my Odo meter is showing an average of 10-12km/ltr and I am expecting it will start increasing post-1000 km once the engine is smooth and fresh oil has been replaced for the car.
On tire, from day 1 I wanted to replace them because these are very low-profile highways, and for an offroader these tires are useless.
Before delivery, I was getting a lot of deals but due to a delay in delivery, my contact very not offering any good deals as the demand for these stock tires is not in the market.
I will update the post once I have done the replacement of the tires
