I am Prashanth based out of Bangalore. I am a Mechanical Engineer working for a Manufacturing MNC. I own a 2023 Bluish Black Jimny Alpha AT which I bought pre-owned in October 2025. My Jimny is bone stock and I intend to keep it that way. I have added a few accessories(or I would call necessities) such as cup holders, arm rest, Farad stepney locks etc. Nothing more. The only modification I intend to do is upgrade the tyres to AT 215-225/75/R15 when the current tyres wear out. Its done 39k till now. I purchased the Jimny purely for fun and city rides. Recently I did a return trip to Kudremukh involving some off-roading(needs 4x4) to reach the Homestay, and it was thrilling. I wish to do more of such trips with like minded enthusiasts and Jimny lovers. I am not at all a hardcore off-roader, so all those off-road mods are not meant for me. I like to keep my trips simple and adventurous. With the Jimny I wish to explore regions which do not need too much of highway/expressway fast drives.
For the information of forum members, the other cars that I own are a 2014 BMW 320d and a 2019 Mahindra Alturas.

Hi everyone, I’m Rajeev. I’m new to off-roading and recently picked up a used Jimny, finally taking the plunge after admiring these little machines for a long time. I’m based out of Palakkad, Kerala, and looking forward to learning the basics and gaining some real off-road experience. This is my first proper 4x4, so I’ll definitely be learning as I go. The Jimny felt like the perfect starting point—simple, capable, and fun. Happy to be here and looking forward to learning from the community and sharing the journey.
I’m Ravi from Bengaluru and I’m really happy to be part of this wonderful Curbover / Jimny family. I work in IT as a software professional and whenever I get time, I’m usually on the road.
Over the last 20 years, my road journeys have taken me across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan,Konkan and Andhra Pradesh, and the plan is to slowly cover the rest of India in the coming years. My vehicle journey so far has been: Maruti 800 (1980s) → Alto 800 → Ford Figo → Maruti Ertiga → and now the Jimny AT 4x4 (finally a proper 4x4 in the garage!).
I enjoy solo road trips, a bit of IoT tinkering, Home Theatre enthusiast, gardening and cooking, alongside whatever my day job demands to survive. Thrilled to be here, looking forward to learning from all of you, sharing experiences and hopefully joining some epic road trips together with the Curbover community.

Hello Everyone. My name is Dharmesh Kumar. I am 58 years old and recently retired from Private sector. I am from Gurgaon (NCR). I have passion for road travel for which never got time while I was working. Now I purchased Jimny Alpha AT so that I am able to do the trips I always wanted to do. I have recently done a trip to Corbett Tiger Reserve. Kashmir, Leh, Laddakh, Lahaul, Spiti are close to my heart. Saw some videos of Curbover. They were super impressive.
