Jimny finally reaches dealerships

Finally after a long and frustrating wait and absolute mind numbing silence from Maruti. The Jimny has finally reached a Gurgaon Dealership today evening.

It will be displayed at Pasco Sikanderpur Showroom for a couple of days.

I think this is a precursor to a country wide display of the Jimny across Nexa Dealerships. Similar to what was done at the time of the Grand Vitara launch.

Thanks to our forum member Rajat, we got a few pictures of the Jimny being received at the showroom.

Detailed Pictures of the Jimny thanks to Rajat again

I visited Bimal Next Mavadevapura, Bangalore yesterday and here are few observations comments from me.

• Jimny is small as expected.

• Build quality seems to be better compared to other Suzuki cars in the segment

• Some paint bubbles observed. Hopefully only on Display cars

• Seat Height Adjust is a big miss even in Alpha variant (Alpha Manual was on display)

• Front seats are decent.

• Tires seems to be fine but looks better with wider AT tires.

• Side mirrors doesn’t give good visibility ( I drive Innova and I take them is one of the best)

• Boot space is sufficient and leg room in rear seat is decent. May be fine for occasional long drives.

• Roof seems to be strong enough.

• Second row doors don’t open wide.

I will go to Next Sarjapur Road later this week to spend a bit more time.
