I’ve been to Gulmarg for snowboarding 7 straight seasons. This year was a break from this routine but will get back next year.

You can check out my last season’s rides:

I’m looking for exploring places that can be done while overlanding or a combination of accommodation and overland/camping.

I’ve been to Leh first time in 2009 and Spiti several time in following few years. Now these places are very easy to access and very crowded. But I see some good suggestions by others, esp the desert area. I’ll create and list of areas from north east soon.

Wow, superb👏 incredible video of the adventure sports. Could you please provide brief information about your ride to Gulmarg or earlier Leh and Spiti etc.?

Leh and Spiti details are quite old so none of that info would be quite relevant in terms of information.

We even have new routes to Leh now via shinkula zanskar, which was not there earlier. I traveled to Leh on bike in 2009. That time it was quite isolated, not much support on the way, 70% off road only 30% was tarmac. Spiti I did once in i10, once in Scorpio. And I’ve been to Kinnaur a few times other than the Spiti trip.

Maybe I need to do a full circle starting from manali and coming back from kargil Srinagar side. Team bhp forums have thousands of travelogues on Leh Ladakh Spiti so that info will be more relevant and recent.

Sach Pass is one route that I’ve missed, though I’ve been till trilokinath and Udaipur a few times.

I travel to Gulmarg via flight only. I have local friend there so travel with them locally if need to. Otherwise it’s a snowboarding trip only so I just stay in hotel, snowboard in the day and maybe on an off day, visit some local place/market etc.
Ski season is Jan mid to March mid.

Simply breathtaking!!
