I would like to drive my Jimny to Leh, I am in Chennai.
Following is the dilemma
Should I drive all the way from Chennai to Leh ==> This will be a long trip and will take many days which I would like to cut short if possible.
Send the Car via packers & Movers to Chandigarh/New Delhi and go there by Flight and drive from there and send the car back via packers and movers to Chennai from Chandigarh/New Delhi
I do not have any relatives/Friends in Chandigarh or Delhi.
Is it possible to send the Jimny there by any packers and movers and then I take it from them after I reach there by Flight ?
Are there any legal formalities to be taken care for that ? Has anyone done that ?
We have done two expedition from CurbOver Group to Leh and Spiti and both times we shipped the Jimny’s via truck to Delhi. It is the best way to enjoy your trip to Leh. There is no fun in driving the Jimny from Bangalore or Chennai all the way till Delhi.
You will get tired and also end up spending equal or more driving till Delhi. Plus the risk of driving 2500 kilometers.

Yes, you can ship your car from Chennai to Chandighar/Delhi in 3 modes(Road, Rail & Air) each one of them have its own pros and cons. Please do your research before choosing the right vendor for safe transport. I recently shipped by bike using Gatti from Bangalore to chandigarh without any fuzz. my friend used VRL and their experience is good, little expensive side.
