PLEASE RECOMMEND SUZUKI JIMNY 3/4 ROOF RACK
Please check out Farad Roof Racks and Bars. They are a reputed European manufacturer and have an India distributor in Mumbai. The India website in https://faradindia.com , Their range of Bars and Boxes are really durable and competitively priced. I used their Aerodynamic Black Aluminum Bars with Side Link kit and the Crub Roof box extensively and they performed very good.
Looking for a Roof Rack. Hopefully Bimra or Azad shall create a Lighter and Sleeker Design of a Rack soon.
Roof Bars and Boxes options are good with Farad and Thule.
I have installed Swastikfabs platform type roof racks. It is imported by them, and not their in house design. This is the closest design to the famous FrontRunner roof rack.
The rack is modular in design and has channels to secure the M8 T Eyelet bolts. We can then easily secure the cargo on the rack using tie down straps which will lock into the T bolts. It also comes with a lightbar mount.
The weight of the rack is around, 23 kg. I have driven in the city extensively at speeds of upto 70kmph after installing the racks. There is no wind noise or any type of rattle. i am yet to do highway speeds with actual cargo secured on top.
I believe it is also possible to secure a Roof Box on top of this rack directly.
