All users MUST go through our FAQ and Terms of Service pages under Community, to level our expectations so that we can maintain the quality of this forum.
The short version is:
- New users must Introduce yourselves here and share something about yourselves, because we are excited to know more about you as we welcome you into our tight and warm family.
- All users are encouraged to use Two Factor Authentication. A simple 2 minute job to make things absolutely secure with your login. A small tutorial with screenshots is available at How to enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Search before you post anything (Especially questions) to check if it’s already available to avoid duplicate content. Here is a tutorial on how you can use the search function. It is easy.
- If you spot an unanswered question or found an answer before someone posts an answer OR found an answer to any problem? Please post them under the appropriate category. This will help the community in sharing knowledge and expertise across. That’s the primary reason we are here as a community.
- We urge you to personalize so that you are more comfortable when interacting. We are like another family and this forum is our home.
- Be logical and civil here. Be nice to each other, respect each others opinions even when in disagreement. We are a community to help and share knowledge.
- Your privacy is paramount. Hence, do NOT post any personal information (Including your phone no. email etc) as this is a public forum. Always blur/edit out such information like the registration number or any personally identifiable information from images as well. A breach of privacy is not tolerated. Users are requested to report such content to the moderators immediately.
- DO NOT breach any copyrights, post copyrighted images or content. Users are requested to report such content to the moderators immediately.
- Post quality is also of paramount importance to us. Before you post something, think like you’re drafting an email to your boss asking for a promotion. Why? Because here we go by trust levels and quality is always given priority.
- We follow trust levels and your access levels are determined automatically. Basically, the more quality content you provide to the community, the better your privileges. Here’s more information on how it is determined.
- Mods are also humans, kindly help us in keeping this forum clean by using the report (!) function to flag improper posts.
- And one final thing, we have one law, if you spot another Jimny, ensure you park as close as possible to them, take a picture and post it here. If possible say a hello and invite them to our warm family.
